این اثر، کاکتوسی کوچک را به تصویر می‌کشد که در گوشه‌ای از خاک یا گلدان قرار گرفته و با پس‌زمینه‌ای از رنگ‌های سبز و خاکستری احاطه شده است.
کاکتوس با فرم فشرده و برگ‌های متراکم خود، نماد استقامت، زندگی و توانایی سازگاری در محیطی محدود است.
رنگ‌های سبز و خاکستریِ پس‌زمینه، تضادی میان زندگی و سکون ایجاد می‌کنند:
سبز نشانهٔ رشد و امید است، و خاکستری حس آرامش، سردی و فاصله را القا می‌کند.
این ترکیب، نگاه بیننده را به مرکز اثر—یعنی کاکتوس—هدایت می‌کند و هم‌زمان احساسی از تنهایی و نیروی درونی را منتقل می‌سازد.
نور ملایمی که از بالا یا کنار بر کاکتوس می‌تابد، گرمایی ظریف در دل فضای سرد پس‌زمینه پدید می‌آورد؛
گویی حیاتی کوچک و مقاوم در محیطی بی‌روح و خنک می‌درخشد.

Interpretation of the Artwork: “Life in Cold Warmth”
