Shivan ZamaniBorn in 1982, Isfahan, IranShivan Zamani is an Iranian painter, researcher, and scientist whose interdisciplinary practice bridges contemporary art and biological sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Insect Physiology from the University of Guilan and serves as a researcher at the National Silk Research Center of Iran.Zamani’s artistic practice revolves around the themes of metamorphosis, vulnerability, resilience, and transformation. Positioned between realism and abstraction, her works explore the human condition through a deeply personal and symbolic visual language. Drawing upon her scientific background, she employs natural silk cocoons, silk fibers, and silk floss as integral components of her artistic process, transforming them into metaphors for growth, fragility, and renewal.In her paintings and mixed-media works, the human body emerges as a site of continuous transformation, where biological processes intersect with emotional and existential experiences. از سال ۱۳۵۷ فعالیت هنری خودم را در زمینه طراحی،نقاشی و مجسمه سازی اغاز کرده ام.به مدت ۲۰ سال (۱۳۶۸ الی ۱۳۸۸)در اداره فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی صومعه سرا بعنوان مسئول انجمن هنرهای تجسمی و مدرس نقاشی فعالیت داشته اماز سال ۱۳۷۴ الی ۱۳۸۰ بعنوان طراح دکور در صدا و سیمای استان گیلان مشغول به فعالیت بوده ام.در همین سالها به موازات فعالیتهای بالا در اموزشگاههای هنری فجر صومعه سرا،اموزشگاه هنری گیلان( رشت)...اموزشگاه هنرهای تجسمی نقش قلم (رشت ...از سال ۱۳۹۴ تاکنون) بعنوان مدیر مسئول و موسس و همچنین مدرس کلاسهای طراحی و نقاشی و مجسمه سازی مشغول به فعالیت می باشم...
در زمینه مجسمه سازی بالغ بر ۲۰ مجسمه شهری برای نصب در میادین شهرهای مختلف استان گیلان طراحی و ساخته ام.و اکنون به مدت ۲۰ سال باهنرجویان علاقمند در زمینه اموزش ساخت مجسمه،از مبتدی تا تکمیلی در قالب موضوعهای متنوع اشنایی با مواد...مدلسازی ( ساخت سردیس،فیگور،اثار انتزاعی و غیره... ) وقالبگیری و قالبریزی با مواد مختلف( رزین،گچ،سنگ مصنوعی،سیمانی و پاپیه ماشه) مشغول تدریس میباشم. چندین نمایشگاه انفرادی و گروهی در طی این سالها بخش دیگری از فعالیتهای هنری من میباشد.
Rasoul Rabiei
Born on June 27, 1967, in Someh Sara, Gilan, IranLives and works in Gilan, IranRasoul Rabiei is an Iranian visual artist, sculptor, painter, designer, and art educator with more than four decades of experience in the field of visual arts. He began his artistic journey in 1978, focusing on drawing, painting, and sculpture, and has since devoted his career to artistic creation, education, and cultural development.From 1989 to 2009, he served at the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Someh Sara as the Head of the Visual Arts Association and a painting instructor. During this period, he played an important role in promoting visual arts and supporting emerging artists in the region.Between 1995 and 2001, Rabiei worked as a set and stage designer for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Gilan Center, contributing to numerous television productions through his creative design work.Alongside his institutional activities, he has taught drawing, painting, and sculpture at several art institutes, including Fajr Art Institute in Someh Sara, Gilan Art Institute in Rasht, and, since 2015, Naghsh-e Ghalam Visual Arts Institute in Rasht, where he serves as founder, director, and instructor.As a sculptor, Rabiei has designed and created more than twenty public sculptures installed in urban squares and public spaces throughout Gilan Province. His sculptural works contribute to the visual identity and cultural landscape of various cities in the region.For more than twenty years, he has specialized in teaching sculpture, offering courses from beginner to advanced levels. His educational programs include material studies, modeling techniques, portrait and figure sculpture, abstract forms, mold-making, and casting processes using a variety of materials such as resin, plaster, artificial stone, cement, and papier-mâché.Throughout his career, Rabiei has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, presenting works in painting, sculpture, and visual arts. His artistic practice reflects a lifelong dedication to creativity, craftsmanship, education, and the advancement of contemporary visual arts in Iran.Through his work as both artist and educator, Rasoul Rabiei continues to inspire new generations of artists while contributing significantly to the cultural and artistic heritage of Gilan.

Mazyar EmadzadehBorn in 1972, Rasht, Gilan, IranMazyar Emadzadeh is an Iranian painter, art educator, and cultural administrator. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, one of Iran’s most prestigious institutions for art education.He has been awarded the Grade Two Artistic Degree in Painting by the Iranian Council for the Evaluation of Artists, recognizing his professional achievements and significant contributions to the field of visual arts.Emadzadeh serves as the Visual Arts Expert and Coordinator at the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Gilan Province, where he has played an active role in supporting artistic activities, organizing cultural programs, and promoting contemporary visual arts in the region.Alongside his professional and administrative responsibilities, he is a lecturer at the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) University of Applied Science and Technology in Gilan, where he teaches and mentors emerging artists and art students.Throughout his career, Mazyar Emadzadeh has been actively engaged in painting, art education, and cultural development, contributing to the advancement of visual arts through both his creative practice and institutional involvement. His work reflects a commitment to artistic excellence, education, and the enrichment of Iran’s contemporary art scene.

Seyedeh Mahin MortazaviBorn in 1981, Rasht, IranLives and works in Rasht, IranSeyedeh Mahin Mortazavi is an Iranian sculptor and visual artist. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science and has developed her artistic practice with a focus on sculpture and contemporary visual expression.Working from Rasht, she explores artistic themes through sculptural forms, combining personal vision with cultural and social narratives. Her works reflect an ongoing engagement with creativity, identity, and the relationship between art and society.Mortazavi created her featured sculpture in 2025 and has actively participated in both virtual and in-person artistic events. Her artistic activities include a solo virtual exhibition titled “Reflection” as well as participation in numerous group exhibitions.She has also served as curator for six exhibitions in Rasht, contributing to the promotion and development of contemporary visual arts within the local artistic community.Among her cultural and literary achievements are publications and creative projects including Mirath-e Parsi (Persian Heritage), The Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf, A Thousand Manifestations of a Ghazal, The First Standard Encyclopedia of the Caspian Countries, and Self-Portrait, with several ongoing research and publication projects currently in progress.Through her artistic and cultural activities, Seyedeh Mahin Mortazavi continues to contribute to the enrichment of contemporary Iranian art and the preservation of regional cultural heritage.

He continues his academic activities as a lecturer at higher education institutions across Gilan Province, contributing to the education and development of emerging artists.Throughout his distinguished artistic career, he has participated in more than seventy solo and group exhibitions at local, national, and international levels. Bahram TavakoliBorn in 1965, Rasht, IranBahram Tavakoli is an Iranian painter, art educator, and cultural activist whose career spans several decades of artistic practice, teaching, and cultural development. He is a member of the Iranian Painters Association and the Visual Arts Development Board, and has played a significant role in the advancement of visual arts education and artistic activities in Gilan Province.Tavakoli served as President of the Visual Arts Association of the Art Bureau of Rasht from 1989 to 1991. He is also the founder of Negah-e No Visual Arts Institute, an independent art school dedicated to the education and promotion of drawing and painting.Recognized for his contributions to art education, he was honored as a Distinguished and Enduring Figure in Art Education in 2016. In addition, he has received numerous certificates of appreciation, commemorative awards, and professional recognitions, including ISO certification and several honors from cultural and artistic institutions.Throughout his career, Tavakoli has taught drawing and painting through various educational programs, including broadcasts on the Gilan Provincial Television Center. He has also contributed to public art initiatives, including mural projects in several cities across Gilan Province and participation in urban cultural development programs.His exhibition record includes numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Iran. Seyedeh Ameneh Al ShafieiBorn in 1974, Fuman, Gilan, IranLives and works in Fuman, IranSeyedeh Ameneh Al Shafiei is an Iranian visual artist whose creative practice is rooted in painting and contemporary visual expression. She holds a diploma in Health and Childcare and has pursued her artistic career through continuous participation in exhibitions and independent artistic activities.Her exhibition record includes three solo exhibitions held in 1999, 2011, and 2012 under the auspices of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Gilan Province. These exhibitions provided an important platform for presenting her artistic vision and personal body of work.In addition to her solo presentations, Al Shafiei has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Rasht, contributing to the local visual arts community and engaging with a wide range of artistic audiences.Most recently, she held a solo exhibition in 2023 at Kalhor Gallery in Rasht, continuing her commitment to artistic production and public engagement through visual art.Through her work, Seyedeh Ameneh Al Shafiei explores personal creativity and visual storytelling, maintaining an active presence within the contemporary art scene of Gilan Province.

Behnam ValadvandBorn on March 20, 1978, IranBehnam Valadvand is an Iranian painter, visual artist, curator, and art educator whose career spans more than three decades of artistic practice, teaching, and cultural leadership. He graduated with a Diploma in Painting from the Fine Arts High School of Kermanshah and quickly gained national recognition through numerous awards and exhibitions.Valadvand achieved first place in the National Student Drawing Competition (1997) and won first prize at the National Youth Painting Festivals of Kermanshah (1996) and Urmia (1997). He was also the founder of the Tehran Province Visual Arts Association and has served as director of Rasoul Mehr Gallery and Gol Narges Gallery.His international activities include participation in the International Islamic Youth Art Festival, the Tehran Painting Biennial, the International Painting Triennial of the Islamic World, Art Fair Turkey, Izmir International Art Fair (2025), and the Fourth Tehran Art Fair (2025). His works have been exhibited in China, Italy, France, Turkey, and the United States.In addition to exhibiting in more than sixty group exhibitions, Valadvand has contributed to art criticism and cultural discourse through publications and media appearances, including articles on the work of Sohrab Sepehri and interviews on national radio networks.Through his paintings, conceptual projects, curatorial activities, and educational endeavors, Behnam Valadvand has established himself as one of the influential figures in contemporary Iranian art, continuously contributing to the development of visual culture both nationally and internationally.

Lida PoulakiLida Poulaki is an Iranian painter and visual artist. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Painting and is a permanent member of the Iranian Painters Association. She has also earned both Grade One and Grade Two Professional Certifications from the Technical and Vocational Training Organization of Iran.Throughout her artistic career, Poulaki has actively participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has established a significant presence within Iran’s contemporary art scene.Her solo exhibitions include presentations at Velayat Cultural Center (2012), the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Fardis (2013), the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Mohammadshahr, Karaj (2013), Ba Gallery (2021), the Central Hall Gallery of Rasht (2025), Moham Gallery in Ahvaz (2025), and Vista Gallery (2025).She has participated in more than fifteen group exhibitions and has been featured in numerous national art events, including the 12th Fajr Visual Arts Festival (2019), the Alborz Contemporary Painters Festival (2019), and the National Drawing Festival of Semnan (2019).Her exhibition record also includes participation in a two-person exhibition with Behnam Valadvand at Ravi Gallery, the First Parsian Annual Exhibition (2020), the Fifth Alborz Annual Exhibition (2020), “Life in the Time of Cold” at Zarna Gallery (2021), the Fourth Annual Exhibition of the Alborz Painters Association (2021), exhibitions at Shekooh Gallery, Sarzamin-e Honar Gallery, Art Echo Gallery, and Arasbaran Gallery, as well as the Second Satin Visual Arts Annual Exhibition (2021).In 2022, she participated in the 15th Fajr Visual Arts Festival and the Annual Drawing Exhibition at the House of Artists of Iran in Tehran. More recent activities include exhibitions at Ragadid Gallery and Lanz Dian Gallery (2022–2024), the “Nowruz Negar” exhibition at Laleh Gallery (2024–2025), participation in the Fourth Tehran Art Fair (2025), and the group exhibition “Like Shahrivar” at Vista Gallery (2025).Through her artistic practice, Lida Poulaki explores contemporary visual language while maintaining a strong commitment to drawing and painting as fundamental forms of artistic expression. Her works have been exhibited widely across Iran and continue to contribute to the development of contemporary Iranian art.

She earned her Diploma in Graphic Design in Rasht and later received a Bachelor’s Degree in Painting from the University of Tehran.With over fifteen years of teaching experience, Mirniazi has dedicated a significant part of her professional career to art education in girls’ high schools in Rasht. She has also been actively involved in promoting visual arts through teaching and cultural activities in Gilan Province.Her artistic career spans several decades and includes numerous solo and group exhibitions. Her first solo painting exhibition was held in 1997 at Khatam Al-Anbia Gallery in Rasht, followed by another solo exhibition in 2003 at Honar Soroush Art Workshop. In 2024, she presented a major solo exhibition at Pouya Gallery in Rasht.Mirniazi has participated in a wide range of group exhibitions across Iran, including exhibitions at Apameh Gallery in Tehran (2022), Nar Gallery in Rasht (2023), Milad Tower in Tehran (2024), the Central Hall of Rasht with the theme of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh (2024), the House of Artists in Tehran, and several exhibitions at the House of Culture in Rasht, including painting and monoprint showcases.She is a member of the Visual Arts Council of the Gilan Art Bureau and has served as a painting instructor at the Art Bureau of Rasht. Her commitment to artistic development has also been reflected in her continuous participation in contemporary art events and exhibitions throughout the country.In 2025, her work was featured in the publication “Symphony of Colors: Harmony of Line,” a collection of works by Iranian avant-garde artists. In 2024, she received the Outstanding Artist Award at the group exhibition “My Homeland,” recognizing her artistic achievements and contribution to contemporary Iranian art.Recent activities include participation in the Group Exhibition of Contemporary Gilan Artists at Soure Khial Gallery (2025), the Second Annual Exhibition of the Contemporary Painters of Gilan (2025), and the Self-Portrait Group Exhibition at the Central Hall of Rasht (2025).Through her paintings, Leila (Nazli) Mirniazi explores personal expression, cultural identity, and the evolving language of contemporary visual art, creating works that bridge tradition and modern artistic perspectives.

در سال ۱۳۸۲ و همچنین عضو افتخاری انجمن توسعه هنرهای تجسمی و عضو پیوسته انجمن نقاشان تهران است.

Lila Babakan was born in 1967 in Rasht northern city of Iran. She began to be interested in art since childhood.
She started academic training in painting in her hometown in 1983. She holds a B.A degree in painting from Azad university in Tehran in 1994 and a B.A degree in Artplastic from Sorbonne university in Paris in 2003. She is an honory member of the CIVA.IR (painting) and also a member of Tehran Painters Association. She has about 30 years of professional experience in modern painting. The subject of her paintings is nature. So far she participated in the Biennale of the Museum of Contemporary Arts, the Manifestation of Emotions Exhibition in Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran and the Tehran International Exhibition and Oman International Exhibition Center also she had indivitual and group exhibitions in galleries of Artitude, Marché Maleci in Paris and in galleries of Golestan, Sin, Freelance Designers, Barg, House of Artists and Marjan in Tehran and Pouya, kalhor and Image in Rasht and Milad Wefare Complex in Karaj. She also sold her works to the Museum of Comtemporary Arts and galleries in Tehran and Paris.
